It appears that Planned Parenthood is temporarily conceding defeat to President Trump’s Protect Life Rule, pending a judicial injunction. The Trump administration’s rule requires medical care centers to separate their abortion-providing aspect of their facilities to be entirely separate from the rest of the business. This means that medical businesses are required to have a […]
Charles Darwin should have been pro-life. His theory, in my opinion, demands it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t. He encouraged exterminating Australian aboriginals, enslaving Africans, and sterilizing those he viewed as unfit to propagate humanity.
Do You Feel Called by God? Rethinking the Call to Ministry is a book that is meant to challenge the very idea of what it means to be “called.” Although this book is primarily directed to those who are currently in or considering full-time ministry, it’s not limited to that specific audience. It’s a very […]
Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed the apostasy of some very influential church leaders. First was author, speaker, and megachurch pastor Joshua Harris. More recently was a songwriter for the popular worship band Hillsong, Marty Sampson. In light of these recent events, John Cooper, lead singer of the rock band Skillet, shared a […]
I saw this cartoon today and it got me thinking…but I want to know what other people think of it too. What do you think of this cartoon? Do you think Democrats put a target on Trump supporters? Or do Trump supporters often put it on themselves? Is this cartoon justified? Or is it just […]
Many thanks to Michael from Shadow to Light for sharing this information. See Michael’s post here. It appears that atheist, evolutionist, liberal, and all-around rational thinker angry man, PZ Myers is in an all-out dash toward Democratic-controlled totalitarianism in response to the mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso, TX. In Mr. Myers’ post, he […]
Senator Rand Paul and the National Pro-Life Alliance are trying to gather 1,000,000 petitions in support of the Life at Conception Act. But what is the Life at Conception Act? The Life at Conception Act recognizes that a baby is a person at conception. If this fact is recognized by Congress, then Roe v. Wade […]
A couple of weeks ago I let my pastor read my post about him joining the chaplaincy. In his entire two-year pursuit with the military, I never shared my thoughts with him. I’m a very reserved person and public speaking isn’t my strongest ability. Unless I’m talking with a group of about 4 people, I […]
I’m about to review a book that’s about politics in the Bible, but before I continue, let me clarify something. I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I’m a Christian. I don’t belong to either party. I belong to Christ. I am very skeptical of the “Christians” who run for office because too many people wear […]
The past couple of weeks have been awful. Three young men have abused their freedom and liberty to murder innocent victims. I’m not going to go into detail because the media coverage has been overwhelming. If you haven’t heard about them, just do a quick internet search and you’ll find them pretty quickly. Despite the […]
This book from Ligonier Ministries is available for download to anyone who wishes to get it. However, you must either already have an account or create one. This book is a prayer guide, not a chapter book. Its particular focus is for worldwide awakening. From ourselves to the church to the unreached, it centers around […]
Logos is offering this free book for the month of August: God’s Kingdom Through God’s Covenants You will need an account and the free Logos Bible app to download and read it. I haven’t read it yet, but when I do I will let you know what I think! Enjoy!
I find it weird that one of the most offensive things to an atheist is a simple cross. Atheists claim that they are lanterns of reason, logic, and science. But becoming angry at the sight of a cross isn’t justified by any of those.
Logos is offering a free book to download: Paul, Apostle of God’s Glory in Christ: A Pauline Theology I only just found out about it and I wanted to share. I haven’t read it yet, but when I do, I will be sure to review it and let you know what my thoughts are. The […]
Few Christians have heard about apologists. Even fewer know what apologists are and what they do. If they hear a speaker announce they’re going to give a “Christian apologetic,” they think the speaker is about to apologize for being Christian! So what is an apologist? [Apologists] provide credible answers to some of life’s most difficult […]
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does […]
This week features the anti-climatic Mueller testimony, recent activity in cities that’s causing police morale to run low, and the House of Representatives passing two bills that threaten the nation.
Recently bill H.R.5, called the Equality Act, passed through the House of Representatives with a vote of 236-173. This bill will make it illegal for anyone to deny services to anyone who is part of the LGBT(QRSTUV…) community. This bill puts homosexuals and transgender indiviuals under the same protection as African Americans and women. Before […]
The American Medical Association (AMA) has recently made it very clear that (in my opinion) they don’t care about you, your health, or your family. What they care about killing your children, promoting an agenda, and ultimately…money. They may not come outright and say it, but their recent actions this week have proved it. They […]
I’m a big fan of Harry Potter. That might surprise you since this is a website that is founded on a Christian worldview. I do think practicing magic is satanic. I also think seeking out magicians and/or spirits can be dangerous. However, I don’t think if I enjoy a fictional novel about fictional characters is going to send me to Hell. I don’t obsess about it, but I do think it’s an excellent series.
If you don’t know, Harry goes to a school called Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry. In some of his classes, he learns how to cast spells. These spells have different purposes and are to be used in different situations, but they all create something out of thin air. It could be something physical, like light, or it could be an action, like levitating an object.
What would you do if your child was watching pornography without your knowledge? I’m sure you’d be pretty upset. It would cut you to the core. But sadly enough, this is a reality that many parents face. Pornography is more accessible than it ever has been. Addiction percentages are astronomical. Not only among men, but […]
Here is some commentary on some of the news stories this week: People Planning on Storming Area 51 There is a petition going around on social media for people to sign up to storm Area 51 to finally reveal the secrets held inside. So far, 1.6 million people have said they are going, with another […]
A few weeks ago, my church pastor swore-in as a military chaplain. It’s only part-time with a branch of the Reserves, but this will have quite an effect on the church and his local ministry. He rarely misses a service. Ever. But now he’s faced with the fact that he’ll miss 1 Sunday each quarter […]
It was announced last week that the American Psychological Association (APA) is creating a “task force” to remove the stigma associated attributed to consensual multi-partner relationships. In other words, they’re attempting to make polygamy and adultery socially acceptable despite the fact that our consciences tell us that it’s morally wrong to cheat and to be […]
Duolingo has finally come out with Arabic. For Americans, this is probably one of the hardest languages to ever learn. The alphabet looks like random markings and it’s read from right to left. So why on Earth would you want to learn this language? I could have picked a language just as difficult, like Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, or Hebrew. Why Arabic?
Here are 4 reasons…
