I hate Halloween. I think it's a celebration of everything wicked and evil. But that isn't how it originated. It used to be a Christian holiday.
Just because something is valued doesn’t make it valuable. When we value something, that thing is designated as important to us. But importance isn’t the same as value. They may be used interchangeably, but they’re not entirely synonymous.
As I have seen the story of James Younger unfold, I have been filled with shock, dismay, disgust, and anger. But today, the only thing I felt was grief and heartache for all involved.
